Archdiocese of Tuguegarao

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tuguegarao is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. Tuguegarao is the Archdiocese in the Province of Cagayan, on the island of Luzon.

Was carved out from the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia - the Diocese of Tuguegarao was erected on April 10, 1910 for the whole province of Cagayan, Isabela and Nueva Ecija. The Archdiocese comprises the following diocese: Batanes, Bayombong, Ilagan. On September 21, 1974 Pope Paul VI elevated the Diocese of Tuguegarao into an Archdiocese.
