Archdiocese of Hue

Archdiocese (Metropolitan) of Hue (Latin: Archidioecesis Hueensis) is a Roman Catholic Archdiocese in central Vietnam.

The creation of the diocese in present form was decalared November 24, 1960. It covers an area of 12,227 km² and headed by Archbishop Etienne Nguyên Nhu Thê (from 1998), who was previously a coadjutor Archbishop of Hue.

The suffragan dioceses are:

Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral in Huế has been assigned as the Cathedral of the Archdiocese.[1]

By 2004, Archdiocese of Hue had about 65,770 believers (3.3% of the population), 93 priests and 177 parishes.[2]
