Strong Oppose. The only interaction I have had with him has been very negative - at WP:BN he made a number of comments which seemed very elitist, and suggesting that the opinions of bureaucrats are worth more than those of non-bureaucrats. Although that relates to his office as a bureaucrat rather than an arbitrator, I'm very concerned about the concentration of power issues, and the fact that holding so many official titles seems to have gone to his head. It's time he stepped aside, preferably from bureaucratship as well as the ArbCom. Also, as noted above, he's been involved in edit-warring. WaltonOne 19:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

  1. Very strongly oppose. Per UBeR's very telling diffs, The Evil Spartan, Ryan Postlethwaite, and Fred Bauder, a current Arbitrator whose judgment I trust. This user is uncivil, but more importantly, he does not respect Wikipedia policy. We had a dispute on the FA page, and he protected the page himself instead of getting a neutral admin to do it (policy). He seemed to think what was OK because what I did was not OK- and from the looks of it this instance was one of his minor violations. Such blithe violation of policy without remorse is exactly the wrong quality for an Arbitrator. ——Martinphi Ψ Φ—— 21:54, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
