A quick web search for "Arbitrage Wise" will show the importance here. In the virtual world of Second Life, a platform with over 8 million users, he is arguably the most recognizable financial force of the booming Second Life economy.

His businesses have been talked about on ABC News, in BusinessWeek, and all over the Second Life media (see cited sources). Wise is important in that he a pioneer in the fast-booming micro economy that so many business magazines and universities are talking about. In fact, Wise even submits reports from his virtual stock exchange to Robert Bloomfield, economics professor at Cornell University, for further study... validating his business efforts and proving a legitimate real-life interest in his work.

This is obviously going to be controversial, and needs a discussion to reach a community consensus. I note potential BLP problems with respect to the real-life sponsor of the avatar. DGG (talk) 18:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Avatar's real-life biography has been expanded and sourced. :) Timdlocklear (talk) 22:16, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Editor No Longer Editing

Quick note – I (Timdlocklear who is simply not logged in) have done a lot of the updating and work on this article in the past, but I am no longer able to keep track of this person professionally or manage this page. This page needs to be updated badly, but I am not the one to do it. Any help from anyone current SL'er out there is appreciated.
