Aravakurichi is a panchayat town in Karur district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Aravakurichi had a population of 11,273. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Aravakurichi has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 55% of the males and 45% of females literate. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
