Arakuzha is a village 6 km south east of Muvattupuzha in Kerala, India. The Thodupuzha river flows through the village. It is a major Syrian Catholic area. The (Malekuris)Church here claims that St. Thomas arrived here. The St. Mary's Church of Arakuzha has a history of over 1000 years and is one of the oldest churches in Kerala.
