Arai Helmet Ltd (アライヘルメット?) is a Japanese company that designs and manufactures motorcycle helmets. It was formed in 1926 by Hirotake Arai as a hatmaker. All of their helmets meet or exceed the Snell Memorial Foundation safety standards.
Arai competes with high-end helmet brands such as AGV and Suomy of Italy, Schuberth of Germany, and fellow Japanese maker Shoei.
Arai manufactured the helmet worn by Richard Hammond in his world famous crash
