Ara Abramyan

Ara Abramyan (Armenian: Արա Աբրահամյան) is and Armenian-Russian businessman and the current president of the Union of Armenians in Russia, an NGO dedicated to advancing Armenian postions in Russia and promoting greater cooporation between Armenia and Russia. He was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1957, he attended Yerevan State University and got a degree in economics. In 1993 he founded the Joint Stock Company Soglasiye, which is today, one of Russia's top investment comapanies.
