I am Aquillyne. The name is a combination of the term aquiline, referring to the characteristics of an eagle, a quill to refer to literacy, and the letter y. I have been involved in Wikipedia for some years but decided to start afresh with this new name.
My main aim here on Wikipedia is to continue maintaining its status as the de facto font of all knowledge on the web - I will consider my editorial work done if a reader is able to pick any one of my favourite subjects, search for it on Wikipedia, and then be served with an engaging account of the subject that does it complete justice. Aside from this content-based aim, I am keen on the general Wikimedia goal of free information and the method of achieving it through collaborative websites such as Wikipedia, and to that end I continually try to help with the backstage mechanics of the projects.
