When and why did they change their name from Gay Head? Was it because of the current meaning of the word Gay? - Nik42 04:20, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

I doubt it, usually towns aren't that insecure about thier names. I think the Wampanoag may have been more of a factor. --UsaSatsui 10:14, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
