[edit] Can you help me find this?

I have heard that in Medieval times, people would consume wine and perform some rituals in order to recieve information from the spirits. I vaguely remember something about Court Jesters doing this as part of their repetoire. I believe the "Song of my Soul" by Cris Williamson expresses some of this. It feels like a drinking song, but it has a spiritual message, and starts with a petition to be filled with truth and light. Insanityclaus (talk) 20:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
