Aquivaldo Mosquera (born June 22, 1981 in Apartadó) is a Colombian football defender.
He currently plays as a defender for Sevilla FC in Spain. Recently, Mosquera has shown his high quality defending capability and finesse against many of the best players in the Spanish league to earn him a spot in the team's starting lineup. Prior to his move to Sevilla, he played for CF Pachuca in Mexico. With Pachuca he achieved a National championship (Clausura 2006) and a Copa Sudamericana (2006).
Mosquera is currently one of the key defending talents for the Colombian national team and has been called up for recent 2010 World Cup qualifying matches and friendlies.
