Aquia Harbour is a census-designated place (CDP) in Stafford County, Virginia, United States, 13 miles north of Fredericksburg. The population was 7,856 at the 2000 census. Aquia Episcopal Church, erected in 1757 and now a National Historic Landmark, is located north of the community.

Aquia Harbour is located at 38°27′31″N, 77°23′3″W (38.458484, -77.384124)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.8 square miles (20.2 km²), of which, 7.7 square miles (20.0 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.39%) is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 7,856 people, 2,569 households, and 2,227 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,014.4 people per square mile (391.9/km²). There were 2,622 housing units at an average density of 338.6/sq mi (130.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 85.95% White, 8.92% Black or African American, 0.56% Native American, 1.27% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.87% from other races, and 2.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.41% of the population.

There were 2,569 households out of which 45.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.6% were married couples living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.3% were non-families. 9.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.06 and the average family size was 3.24.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 30.1% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 29.4% from 25 to 44, 28.4% from 45 to 64, and 5.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 101.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.4 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $81,769, and the median income for a family was $85,766. Males had a median income of $61,735 versus $37,740 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $29,044. About 1.0% of families and 1.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 2.2% of those under age 18 and 1.3% of those age 65 or over.
