Aquarius is Aqua's second album. It was released on March 21, 2000 on the MCA label. The album debuted at #82 in the US and spent 6 weeks total on the Billboard 200. This is a significant drop from their last album Aquarium, which peaked at #7 and spent 50 total weeks on the chart.
The lead single "Cartoon Heroes" peaked at #5 in the UK in February 2000 and received TOP10 positions globally except for the U.S where it failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
The second single "Around The World" was the last release in most territories during 2000 when the band split.
Scandinavia and other European countries saw further releases of "Bumble Bees" and "We Belong To The Sea" during late 2000 receiving only moderate success.
The album is the last studio album by Aqua.
