I'm an occasional visitor to Wikipedia.

My interested include technology in general and specifically computer and network design, cable television technology, IPTV, and Macintosh - my favorite computer. I started out really in real-time computing, moved to operating systems, then information technology, and now, I don't know what to call it. I also have interest in aviation (I'm a commercial pilot, with instrument, single/multi-engine, and seaplane ratings), and while I consider myself an old-time UNIX guy, I'm now really a user and lover of the Macintosh.
