According to whom are AM&J cousins to HD&L? Isn't that only a fan theory, while others theorize they aren't at all related? 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 17:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

I've changed this reference to "very distant cousins", as they are distantly related, just as Daisy and Donald are distantly related. I'm going to change it back though, because checking the Family Tree, they are indeed first cousins, as well as distant cousins that I first thought. Heuy, Dewey, and Louie's father, who's married to Donald Duck's sister Della, is also Daisy Duck's brother. Daisy and HDL's dad's sister is the mother of April, May, and June. I suppose First Cousin Romance isn't frowned upon in Duckburg, or perhaps no one thinks it serious as they're children(HD&L frequently date AM&J). Or, perhaps, they're simply platonic dates to keep the kids occupied while Daisy and Donald enjoy each other's company. Maybe it's a similiar phenomonon to, say, taking your brother to a school dance because going alone wouldn't be socially acceptable. These stories do take place, for the most part, in the 1940's after all. Incidently, Donald and Daisy are second cousins, sharing great grandparents. Their great grandfather was "Great Grandpa" Donald Duck, and their great grandmother was his un-named wife. 75.129.161.183 11:43, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I've changed my mistake back, and removed speculation that their mother may be Donna Duck, which is nothing more than speculation. I'd also like to add a bit about AM&J's familial relationship to HD&L. They are first cousins through their mutual relationship to Daisy Duck, but much more distantly related on the other side of the family, from HD&L's perspective. Like Donald and Daisy, their mutual ancestors on that side are "Great Grandpa" Donald Duck and his un-named wife, a set of mutual great-great grandparents, making them third cousins on one side of the family, and first cousins on the other. 75.129.161.183 11:50, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
