- I don't think that the power considerations are correct. I've been told by people involved with the experiment that it could have continued for several years. After it was turned off, they tried reactivating it 10 years later but were unsuccessful. Lunokhod 09:52, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Is the LLR experiment considered to be part of ALSEP? Its not powered by the central station, but it was emplaced in the vicinity. Lunokhod 10:42, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
