Apocalypse (Drayton Manor)

Apocalypse is a vertical drop ride at Drayton Manor Theme Park, Tamworth, England. There are three ways to ride Apocalypse: sit down; stand up; stand up with no floor. Riders are taken up the ride and are tilted 15 degrees forward. The ride is 54m high and was built by Intamin AG. Apocalypse has been voted 'Britain's Scariest Ride' and riders experience 4g's as they decelerate from falling 54m in 4 seconds.
