APOEL (Greek: ΑΠΟΕΛ) is a basketball team from Nicosia, Cyprus. APOEL is the second most successful basketball club in Cyprus with 8 championships. APOEL B.C. is part of the APOEL multisport club.

APOEL was formed in 1926 and the basketball team was formed in 1947. The first title for the team was the Cypriot Supercup in 1972. The first championship for the team came in 1976.

The best decade for the team was the 90s. The team won 4 championships, 5 cups and 5 supercups during that period, including one double on the 1995-96 season.

APOEL also maintains a women's team, Jubalar APOEL. The team competed in the women's first division. The team has temporarily suspended its operation as of January 25, 2008 due to financial problems.
