Apethorpe

Apethorpe is a village and civil parish in the East Northamptonshire district of Northamptonshire, England, between Corby and Peterborough. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 133. The village is located six miles North of the Northamptonshire market town of Oundle. Willow Brook bounds the Southern edge of the village. The village is also home to the comedy actor Rowan Atkinson, perhaps best known for his roles in such productions as Mr Bean and the Blackadder series.

The village houses one of the country's finest country houses in Apethorpe Hall.
