[edit] New version of the image

I re-uploaded the image with a much lower resolution in order to comply with the fair use terms. --WinHunter (talk) 00:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

It is hardly uncommon to have reasonably high-resolution logos on Wikipedia. Depriving users of information for the sake of compliance with terms that (to my knowledge) have never been challenged seems illogical. A logo seeks to promote an organization, not take from it by using its image. I've reverted to the previous image. Feel free to change it back, but make sure your new upload has a transparent background (and please reply to this message). Sean Hayford O'Leary 04:48, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
I believe the image resolution must be reasonable, 2000x900 is just too much for me. If you check the image copyright tag, there is a clear cluase which says: "...It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of logos...". --WinHunter (talk) 06:08, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
I've sized it to 1000x450. I've see the note about low-resolution, but that's wholly open to interpretation. My interpretation: it is not "high-resolution" unless the resolution exceeds the potential practical use for display on a Wikipedia article and only exists to provide others with more pixels for hypothetical manipulation. 2000x900 was pushing the envelope, I suppose. I think 1000x450 seems reasonable to have practical use. Sean Hayford O'Leary 20:22, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
