[edit] Polynesian?

I know nothing about this island, but the three languages spoken there (according to this article) are not Polynesian, at least not according to Wikipedia or Ethnologue. Why the reference to "Polynesian languages"? — MikeG (talk) 16:19, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

The section on Michener is very interesting, but it appears to be original research. If it can't be cited to reliable sources, much of it is going to have to go. Nareek 05:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
