Anzola dell'Emilia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 13 km northwest of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 11,128 and an area of 36.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Anzola dell'Emilia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Castelletto, Lavino di Mezzo, Madonna dei Prati, Martignone, Ponte Samoggia, and San Giacomo Del Martignone.
Anzola dell'Emilia borders the following municipalities: Bologna, Calderara di Reno, Castelfranco Emilia, Crespellano, Sala Bolognese, San Giovanni in Persiceto, Zola Predosa.
