Anwara is located at 22.2167° N 91.9111° E . It has 38008 units of house hold and total area 173.53 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Anwara has a population of 219446. Males constitute are 50.99% of the population, and females 49.01%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 107408. Anwara has an average literacy rate of 30.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. it has lot of richman and all of they live intown . ^[2]

Many people from the United Kingdom and America live there. the population is mostly muslim but there are a tiny minority of hindus in that region. Bodal Chat Chowdury (a village where I live) has 10 houses and approximately 53 permanent resident and around 9 foreign residents.
