Anushka Wirasinha

Anushka Wirasinha or Hemamali is a renowned Information Technology writer born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Anushka holds a prominent spot in Sri Lankan history as the Prentice Hall publications published some of her works written in English language for the first time in Sri Lankan history.[1]

Anushka who was born in Colombo has done her higher education at the Universities in UK and USA. She is an honors graduate of London School of Economics and Political Science UK and post graduate of Harvard University USA. The authorities of the Harvard University invited her to teach Micro Computers and Information Technology directly.

Also she has received awards for fashion design and modeling including the Best Smile award by the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA), New York.[2] [3]

She has written over 30 Information Technology books in English language and some of them are translated into English.

Her works accepted by the Education Ministry of Sri Lanka for use in schools, educational institutions and libraries throughout the country.[4]
