Anurag Kashyap (spelling)

Anurag Kashyap (born November 23, 1991) was, at the age of 13, the 2005 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion who attended Meadowbrook Middle School in Poway, CA.
In the 19th round of the 2005 Scripps National Spelling Bee, Kashyap correctly spelled the word "Appoggiatura" to become the first spelling bee champion from California since 1988.
Kashyap currently attends Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, CA.
