[edit] Reverted edit
Hi. This diff was correct - the actor, according to Google searching, is gay and has a partner Kevin Burrows. I guess the gay->straight michievous change caught MartinBot a bit by surprise! Stephenb (Talk) 07:49, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Reverted edit to Allan Ray
MartinBot reverted this edit I made as vandalism - for reference, somebody had copied the text from Ray Allen over Allan Ray (and vice versa), and I reverted both, although only this edit seemed to draw MartinBot's attention. Hope this report is helpful! JavaTenor 16:55, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The bot reverted Giano
What was that? The bot reverted Giano for reverting an edit warrior. Why? And I reverted the bot... is it gonna... come for me now? Scary! Bishonen | talk 18:49, 2 June 2007 (UTC).
[edit] I've been warned for adding line breaks?
[1] (Sorry, no idea how to wikilink to a revision comparison.)
On 1152px-width, the templates on that page overlap each other significantly. It looks like crap, and makes a large amount of both templates very difficult to read. When I resize my browser window to something near 1024px, which has been standard for quite some time now, there's still some overlap. So I added some to the 12-or-so <br\> tags that the page already had, to fix the problem. The bot considers this vandalism for some reason.
Reading my new messages (where the bot warned me) doesn't seem to make the alert box for them go away, so the other three people at this IP are likely to see the message the next time they go online and not understand what it's about. Besides that, the bot didn't say if you have the power to eventually ban me from Wikipedia. In the future, I will play it safe and resist the urge to fix broken pages. --67.110.213.253 22:32, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Oh dear
Sorry to hear this BOT has stopped functioning as it was so very useful. It's been a legend ;-) Lradrama 11:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amelie
Just in case it can help you improve things: an anon broke a redirect by adding a link to their band's myspace page. Another anon reverted it, and that anon's reversion was undon by the bot (see User talk:87.74.14.167). I have fixed it now. Marnanel 20:58, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Request for article
I added a request for an article, and simultaneously fixed a link on someone else's request. The bot marked it as vandalism. Please fix this error. diff 128.158.145.51 15:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I was warned about Vandalism in the article: Fine Art Price list, yet I am the person creating this article. I am still working on it as I have to add 2400+ artists; I am not an expert in Wikkipedia so please advice me on how to proceed.

[edit] Bot error
Hi. I have just received a message informing me that someone using my IP address has vandalised an article entitled Eason & Son. The only trouble is, I have never been on said page, nor has anyone else in my household. Therefore I can only assume that the bot has made an error. Please look into this. My IP address is 172.201.109.75.
Many thanks, --Domwh 18:25, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Kansas track and field
I got reverted on the above category page, apparently mistakenly created instead of an article. I moved it to Kansas High School Track and Field All Time List, so I guess blanking it now (fairly non-typical edit in this particular case) would be OK... GregorB 21:38, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I deleted a bogus article
Hello - I am not sure if I did something wrong. But in my looking around, I came across a toally stupid and bogus entry. I went to the edit function and deleted (or attempted to!) the entry. I then received the following message: Your recent edit to Redmund godfrey (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Thank you.
the page "the adventures of chadwick and bolly" doesn't seem to be a real mtv tv show. it seems as if it is a show made up by a bunch of juveniles with a bunch of grammatical errors.
[edit] Sittin' on Top of the World
I transferred an article about the album by LeeAnn Rimes from a page called Sittin' on Top of the World to a page called Sittin' on Top of the World (album), to free up 'Sittin' on Top of the World' so it can be used as a re-direct to this song (usually rendered as 'Sittin' on Top of the World' or 'Sitting on Top of the World'). This seems to be sensible as the song, which has numerous cover-versions, is bigger than LeeAnn Rimes' album. If I've done this in an incorrect manner, I apologise. No information was deleted; the sum result was that I added one re-direct, so I cannot see how this can be interpreted as vandalism. Ikeshut 01:10, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
The bot reverted my change to the entry for the doctor who episode Utopia. All i did was add a spoiler warning to the HUGE spoilers for the episode that had recently appeared. 24.84.77.58 22:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your bot said I vandalized the fat lip (Sum 41) page
Yeah someone posted that instead of saying, "What would you expect with a conscience so small?", he says "What would you expect with a penis so small?" This isn't ture. Deryck says dick not penis. This is giving false inforamtion so I fixed it, but it said I was vandalizing it, which isn't true I was fixing it to say the truth!

[edit] I'm very sorry; my daughter inadvertently blanked the Apollo 11 article
Hi. I set my seven year old's browser to the Apollo 11 page a few days ago, thinking it would be a fun thing for her to read. It seems she wound up blanking the page. :( I don't think she would ever do such a thing on purpose; it's just not how her mind works. At any rate, I'm very sorry and I'm happy that the bot fixed things up so easily.
I'd really like to be able to make it convenient for my kids to read stuff on Wikipedia, but I obviously don't want to cause any problems. As far as any of you know is there some way that I could configure a page as "read only" for them, so they could enjoy it but make now changes?
Thanks, and once again we're sorry.
24.175.78.177 02:07, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok; problem solved. I found a stylesheet that turns Wikipedia into a "read only" site. I installed that on the account my kids use to surf.
Everyone take care.

I blanked an article of which I was the subject. But your BOT reverted to the older page. Much of the information in the article was incorrect. Please blank it.
[edit] redirect on strategic investment page
this page redirects to MIT Blackjack Team, which doesnt make sense. I tried to delete the redirect, but it was reverted by the bot
Enjoy your bot. I personally find it fucking annoying. I won't be donating to Wikipedia any more. It used to be fun, now ya'll are just on a power trip.
