[edit] Thomson's gazelles ??
Taken from article: "Thomson’s gazelles that stot so as to advertise unprofitability" Any ideas what the typo should really reflect? WBardwin 07:35, 1 May 2005 (UTC)
- It's a real word - see stotting. Richard001 09:11, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lacks sources
And makes some bizzare claims about 3 animals which i'm skeptical of (the claims, not the animals). Also, the thing about the malaysian ant, I can't find a reference on it outside of wikipedia. 82.69.80.47 (talk) 17:10, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's tagged as needing more references. If you doubt the claim, look at who added them and try to judge. You may still be able to contact the person if they are still active (or maybe email?), in which case they should be able to give you the sources from which they obtained this knowledge (or concede that it should be deleted). - Actually, it was User:War Damn Eagle, who is long gone and never added much to begin with. The article needs a huge amount of work, as well as an assessment of how it fits into Wikipedia as a whole: what its scope should be, whether it should be merged with others, what it should summarize etc. Richard001 (talk) 09:37, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
