Talk:Antiope (mythology)

There are several major variants of the myth of Antiope, and I might try to collect a bit of material on them in the coming weeks. I have a particular interest in the subject for several reasons; one of them being that for a time I developed a close friendship with a woman named "Antiope". It is an extremely rare name, even in Greece where she was born. I might try to collect all the information that I can before her next birthday in a couple of months. Antiope, who once drank with me some of the mingled waters of Antarctica, Maine, and Wales, if by any chance you come across this before I see you next, you could leave a message on my talk page, but refrain from using any name other than that of "Achilles". ~ Achilles † 07:55, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
