I think that the entity Palau Pinang that is mention in both Mortal Engines and Predator's Gold is actually modern day Penang in Malaysia. So probably, Shan Guo is China or Tibet and the character Anna Fang is of Chinese descent. So the Sea of Khazak must be in old Central Asia. Batmunkh Gompa must be somewhere in the Himalayas. Correct. Though I don't think Palau Pinang is a member of the League; Anna Fang is an agent of the League, and she mentions having assassinated the sultan of PP on a mission a while ago. Battle Ape 16:26, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I've just finished Infernal Engines and was surprised when you didn't include Africa.

Africa holds static settlements, but they are not aligned with the League (especially after the Green Storm takes over). Battle Ape 16:26, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
