[edit] Deletion of unflattering sourced text

A concerted ongoing program of attempted suppression of sourced, but perhaps unflattering text in this article has been under way for some time, at least since February 2007.

The text is as follows:

"His third and present wife, whom he married in 1992, is the former Charlene T. Gilbert (born July 27, 1945), the first wife of the Rev. Paul E. Gilbert. By this marriage, he has a stepson, Robert Gilbert, and two stepdaughters, Arden Azile Delacey, who is the music director at the Cathedral School of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine,[1] and Inness Louise Hancock, an artist.[2][3]"

Marshall's current legal issues may be inspiring these attempts, which if detected through WP:Checkuser, might be considered information that belongs in the article, not here on the Talkpage. The following anonymous IPs have been reverted after making deletions intended to manipulate the coverage in the article: Please add new attempts at top of the following list, which is reverse-chronolical.

Semi-protection seems in order to deter this program of subversion. Anyone want to go through the arcane procedure of asking for it? --Wetman (talk) 03:46, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Time to check these IP's with Whois? I figure. --Wetman (talk) 03:10, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
