The definition and spellings in other languages have clearly been copied from behindthename.com...

I have listed it on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. I think all it needs is some rephrasing, though it would probably be appropriate to site Behind the Name as a source, assuming they didn't get it from Wikipedia. HorsePunchKid 06:49, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Rephrased, glossed famous bearers from their Wikipedia articles, removed other languages section as it was a exact copy. Thanks for noticing! JesseW, the juggling janitor 03:40, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Vanity additions

Removed the following: "# Anthony Seliquini, dispatcher for CMS Mechanical Services out of Melbourne, FL, considered the greatest miracle worker of all time, married to Amanda Seliquini." This has been added a couple of times previously. Please provide citation or outside source. Google provides few hits, certainly none indicating notability. Bastun 13:20, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

66.162.19.82 added Anthony Seliquini back again - reverting. Bastun 10:42, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where does the "h" come from

Any information on the origin of the "h" in Anthony? --Macrakis 18:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pronunciation

Do I pronounce it "Anthony" or "Antony"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.108.127.36 (talk) 17:28, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

The vast majority of American English names that are spelled "Anthony" are pronounced with the "th" sound, not the "t" sound, in the United States. Keeper | 76 15:08, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Depends on where you live. Americans seem mostly to pronounce it Anthony; the British pronounce it Antony. Speaking as a Brit, I wondered how the American pronunciation developed, seeings as the British have never pronounced it that way, and you don't say the h in Thomas, after all. 86.133.240.138 (talk) 16:49, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

I build and redirected to here the page Anthony (disambiguation), per Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Page_naming_conventions It is acceptable, on the other hand, to create a page at "Term ABC (disambiguation)" that redirects to the disambiguation page at "Term ABC". This type of redirect can be used to indicate deliberate links to the disambiguation page. Jeepday (talk) 12:36, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
