[edit] Fictional character biography

He began as one of Lucas' river court friends and is a great basketball player (hence his nickname Skills).

[edit] Seasons 1 and 2

He was mostly seen in the river court in the first 2 season to serve as a reminder of Lucas old life, for instance telling him that he used to like how he was before joining the Ravens when Lucas told him that he didn't like what he had become. He also got nearer to Lucas's new friends Brooke Davis, Peyton Sawyer and Nathan Scott for instance taking part in the dare night organized by Felix Taggaro.

[edit] Season 3

In season 3 he was chosen by Bevin, a cheerleader, to be her fantasy boy and began a relationship with her, although they kept playing tricks on each other as a seduction game. He is also a bit estranged as he is from a poor background while most of his friends are rich. He was one of those to get trapped in the tutor centre during the school shooting and thusly went to Rachel Gatina's country home where he bonded a little more with the main cast.

[edit] Season 4

In season 4, Skills becomes a regular and joins the Ravens thanks to Lucas in hopes to get a basketball scholarship. During his first game with the Ravens, Skills is benched but is eventually allowed to play when Whitey overhears a conversation between him and Nathan. Whitey decided to put Skills in the game to see what he his worth and Skills instantly has great chemistry with Nathan, which helps the Ravens win. He helps Lucas sort out his feelings and develops a teasing/caring relationship with Peyton. He also wins the State championship, apparently getting his scholarship, although not without some difficulties because of Nathan. However he doesn't seem to hold that against him as he helped him earn some money by telling about a stripping contest. He then gets a scholarship and rekindles his friendship with Haley during the pairing assignment. He and Bevin later introduce each family to the other one's and they seem to get along pretty well.

[edit] Missing years

At some point his relationship with Bevin took a bad turn and they broke up. He later advised Jamie to not date women named Bevin[1].

[edit] Season 5

He now lives with Mouth, Junk and Fergie. He is in a good relationship with Jamie Scott, Nathan and Haley's son giving him a New York Knicks jersey[2] and later helping for a mini-car race.[3]. He also is an assistant coach for the Tree Hill Ravens joining Lucas on the staff. He also accidentally reveals to him that his grand-father is in jail, unwittingly making Jamie afraid[1] At Lucas's wedding he tries to cheer Peyton up, hoping she will stop the wedding. He is then told to watch over Jamie and feels responsible when he is abducted because he didn't follow him and was very relieved to see him safe[4]. He later begins an online then real life realtionship with Deb Lee, Nathan's mother[5][6]
