The antpeckers, Parmoptila, are a genus tentatively assigned to the estrildid finch family (Estrildidae). This genus has been placed in a number of families and is currently placed with the estrildid finches due to similarities in breeding behaviour. They range across the tropical forests of central Africa.
Species are:
- Red-fronted Antpecker, Parmoptila rubrifrons
- Jameson's Antpecker, Parmoptila jamesoni - formerly included in P. rubrifrons
- Woodhouse's Antpecker, Parmoptila woodhousei
