From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Antonio Longo (also known as Antonio Garcia) was the original singer for Long Island band Taking Back Sunday. He sang on the band's first release - the Taking Back Sunday EP. He had previously been a member of the female fronted band, One True Thing.
After leaving Taking Back Sunday, he joined The Prize Fighter (later known as Guilt Like Gravity) before he was kicked out, and later The Mirror (with Scott Gross, former guitarist member of From Autumn to Ashes). Now he is currently in Minutes to Miles (with bassist Mike "Jones" Mehr, former guitarist of The Mirror and friends Mike "Pacemaker" Monaghan, Mark Cimino, and Mark Dara).
On Brand New's Your Favorite Weapon, Antonio Longo is thanked as "Antonio Garcia".
He was kicked out of Taking Back Sunday for an unspecified incident with guitarist Eddie Reyes.
He currently hosts an open mic night at Spoon Coffehouse in Lindenhurst (Long Island, NY) every Wednesday night.
