[edit] College career

[edit] Freshman season

Antonio Lewis enrolled at West Virginia University in 2004, where he lettered as a true freshman behind All-American Pacman Jones. He recorded six tackles against ECU, two kick returns of 49 yards against James Madison University, and forced a Pitt blocked punt. Lewis missed the Rutgers and Temple games with a high ankle sprain.

[edit] Sophomore season

Once again playing backup in 2005, this time to Alton McCann, Lewis had a better year on defense and special teams. With 23 tackles on the year, he earned second-team All-Big East honors on special teams. Lewis had three tackles and a pass break-up against Syracuse, while having a 38-yard kick return to start Wofford game. Against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Calvin Johnson gained almost 200 yards against Lewis.
