Antonio Garay (born November 30, 1979, in Rahway, New Jersey) is an unrestricted free agent American football defensive tackle.
He was originally selected with the 22nd pick of the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns out of Boston College.
His parents are from Peru and Puerto Rico.[citation needed] Garay has been included on lists of Jewish football players.[1]

Garay attended Rahway High School in Rahway, New Jersey, and was a standout Offensive and Defensive lineman in football and wrestling. In football, he was a Prep Star All-American. In wrestling, he was the 1998 275 pound class New Jersey State and National Champion.[2]

[edit] Chicago Bears
Garay spent two seasons with the Chicago Bears and was a member of the 2006 NFC Championship team. In a December 2007 game at the Washington Redskins, Garay was injured by an illegal block. He was placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the 2007 season. On 8 March 2008, the Chicago Bears announced that they would part ways with the defensive tackle; he became an unrestricted free agent on 29 February 2008.
