From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Antonio Feltrinelli Prize is a prestigious award for achievement in the arts, music, literature, history, philosophy, medicine, and physical and mathematical sciences. The award comes with a monetary grant, a certificate, and a gold medal. [1] The prize is awarded once every five years in each field by Italy's Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei [2] both nationally and internationally. A further prize is awarded periodically for an exceptional enterprise in moral and humanitarian value. [3]
