Antonina Vasilievna Nezhdanova (Russian: Антонина Васильевна Нежданова, 16 June 1873[1]- 26 June 1950) was an Ukrainian lyric coloratura soprano, an outstanding singer representing the Russian vocal school.
She was born near Odessa. In 1899 she entered the Moscow conservatory and upon graduation (1902) worked in the Bolshoi Theatre.
She gave the first performance, with the composer conducting, of Rachmaninoff's Vocalise, and she created a number of operatic roles.
She was married to the conductor Nikolai Golovanov.
