Antonia Campbell-Hughes

Antonia "Toni" Campbell-Hughes is an actress and fashion designer of English and Irish descent. She is best known for playing Sam in Jack Dee's sitcom Lead Balloon.

She has also appeared in popular UK TV series such as Silent Witness, Casualty, and Blackbeard: Terror at Sea; in Channel 4 surreal drama "Scapegoat"; in Neil Jordan's film Breakfast on Pluto; and on stage in productions such as Roberto Zucco. She ran a clothing line that sold internationally under her own name and a diffusion line for high street store Topshop.

Campbell-Hughes's performances in Lead Balloon and Jennifer Saunders vehicle The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle have been particularly praised by Sam Wollaston of the The Guardian.

She was featured on the cover of the Sunday Times' Style supplement cover in December 2007, and models regularly for French fashion label Devastee.

Campbell-Hughes's father is from Liverpool. She was born in Ireland in 1983 and lived in a number of countries during her childhood including, the U.S., Germany and Switzerland. She attended St Andrews College Blackrock, Dublin and then studied at Ireland's National College of Art and Design and later the Grafton Academy.

According to her myspace page, she is dating Drew McConnell of Indie band Babyshambles.
