Antoine Nachanakian

Antoine Khachir Nachanakian MD FACS
A Lebanese neurosurgeon, born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1949.
He finished his medical study at Saint Joseph University, Lebanon in 1973. For specialty, he traveled first to Canada then to France, and he was certified in 1978 from Paris after doing his specialty in neurosurgery at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.
In 1981 he was nominated as “Professeur Agrege”.
Clinical Professor at the University of Balamand (UOB) and previously at the Lebanese University.

- WALN, World Association of Lebanese Neurosurgeons.
- Vice-president of the Lebanese Society of Neurosurgeons.
- Past president of The Pan Arab Neurosurgical society.
- Honorary president of The Pan Arab Neurosurgical Society.
- Co-Founder of The Arab College of Neurosurgery.
- Member of the AANS, the American association of Neurological Surgeons.
- Member of the Congress of Neurosurgery.
and many other scientific organizations.
Associate editor of the Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery.
During his career, he wrote 170 medical articles.
He did around 340 congress communications.
He was an invited speaker for several times all around the world.
