Antipode is an academic journal that publishes in the field of critical geography. The journal publishes articles with Marxist, socialist, anarchist, anti-racist and feminist approaches to geography with a left-wing focus. Antipode's aim is to "challenge dominant and orthodox views of the world through debate, scholarship and politically-committed research, creating new spaces and envisioning new futures". The Journal has an impact factor of 1.287 and was ranked 16th out of 39 in the 2006 ISI Journal Citation Reports Ranking in geography.
