Anthony Wallace (born 26 January 1989 in Brooklyn , New York City United States[1]) is a soccer player who currently plays for FC Dallas in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Although Wallace was born in Brooklyn, his family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida when he was two years old. He graduated from Lakewood High School before moving to Edison Academic Center in Bradenton, Florida for his final three years, where he was an honor student.

He later played for the University of South Florida (USF) soccer team and played in all the USF's games in 2006 as a defensive midfielder. He was picked as a Generation Adidas player and was the ninth overall pick in Round one of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft.[1]

After making six appearances for the Dallas Reserve team, Wallace made his debut for Dallas on September 15 2007 in a 4-2 defeat to New England Revolution.[2]

Wallace played for the United States Under-17 and Under-18 teams[1] and was a member of the USA Under-20 National squad in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Canada.[1][3] He played in two of the Group matches against Poland [4] and Brazil[5] and also played in the knockout stages against Uruguay [6] and the USA's Quarter Final defeat to Austria.[7]
