Anthony Telford

Anthony Charles Telford (born March 6, 1966 in San Jose, California, United States) is a Major League baseball player who has played for the Baltimore Orioles, Montreal Expos, and Texas Rangers. He is currently the pitching coach for the Aiken Foxhounds.
Telford began playing professionally for the MLB on August 19, 1990, with the Baltimore Orioles. He is a graduate of San José State University and Silver Creek High School. A devout Christian, he is married with 4 children.
In 2007, Telford admitted that he had received injections of testosterone for a period of three months from a Florida clinic, whose proprietor was subsequently sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for improperly dispensing steroids. Telford also admitted to having inquired about Human Growth Hormone, and claimed that he had taken the testosterone because he had low levels of the hormone and he and his wife were trying to conceive a child.[1]
