Anthony Stracci

Don Anthony "Black Tony" Stracci (1894-1955)(In the Movie) is a fictional character who first appeared in Mario Puzo's novel The Godfather.

The most senior of all the Dons of New York's Five Families, Stracci nevertheless embraced the scheme of Don Emilio Barzini to unite against the Corleone family and force them into the heroin trade. He was present at the sitdown where the "Commission" of La Cosa Nostra families convinced Don Vito Corleone to accept drug trafficking in his territory and guarantee peace.

In the The Godfather film, Stracci is named "Victor". On the day of Michael Corleone's revenge, he was assassinated by Corleone family caporegime Peter Clemenza; as the Don and his associates took an elevator ride in a hotel, he was there with a shotgun when the doors opened. The actor who portrayed him was not credited.

However, in the novel, Don Stracci was not killed. He later appears in Mark Winegardner's novel The Godfather Returns

In The Godfather: The Game, the protagonist walks into the St. Albans Hotel but its said that Don Stracci thinks its a peace agreement but when in front of Don Stracci, the player is prompted to kill him in front of his bodyguard.
