Anthony "Tony" Simmons (Born: 16 December 1922 in West Ham, London) is a British writer/film producer. Simmons wrote several books and produced some films including Four in the Morning starring Judi Dench and The Optimists of Nine Elms starring Peter Sellers. Simmons has also directed TV work with episodes for The Professionals, Inspector Morse and Van Der Valk.
