Anthony Sharp

Anthony Sharp (16 June 1915 – 23 July 1984) was an English actor on television and film from the 1950s.
Specializing in aristocratic, professional or middle-class types, Sharp notably had character roles in several of Stanley Kubrick's films (A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon), and towards the end of his life appeared on TV in early 1980s alternative comedy subjects (The Young Ones and The Comic Strip). He also supported comedians such as Benny Hill, Frankie Howerd and Morecambe and Wise on their TV shows. He died of natural causes aged 69 in his native London.
