Anthony Sammy

Anthony Sammy is a Port-of-Spain businessman. In 1987 he was elected to the Port-of-Spain City Coporation as a National Alliance for Reconstruction councilor.
On November 21, 2006, Sammy made his debut in the Senate marking a return to politics, as a United National Congress Senator.
Sammy was vice-chairman of NAR’s Port-of-Spain South constituency in the 1980s with then MP Theodore Guerra.
In 2007, Anthony Sammy fought the Port of Spain South Constituency, in General Elections for the United National Congress.
He heads Cirkel Trinidad, an import/export firm.
