Anthony S. Manera

Anthony Manera was head of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation from 1993 to 1995. He joined the CBC as vice-president of human resources in 1985.
Before joining the CBC, Manera was an electrical engineer and had worked in the US defence industry and taught at Confederation College, Niagara College and Vancouver Community College.
He was appointed as member of the Education Quality and Accountability Office in Ontario in 1997. He is currently a member of the board of governors at the Ottawa Hospital, with a term running from 2003 to 2007.
