Anthony Rabito

Anthony Rabito a.k.a. "Mr. Fish" and "Fat Tony" (born Williamsburgh, Brooklyn c.a. 1934) is an Italian-American Bonnano crime family mobster and reputed acting boss or consigliere of the Bonanno family.

His history with organized crime started in 1974. Rabito was a made man, or full member, of the Bonanno family under caporegime Dominick Napolitano from 1979 to 1982. Anthony is a Korean War veteran who served two years with the artillery. As he has grown older, Anthony has suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, and back ailments. In 1982 Anthony was convicted of drug trafficking. Rabito was involved in a prescription drug ring that sold large quantities of the painkiller drug Vicodin to street level users. Rabito was sentenced to six years, in charges stemming from the Donnie Brasco investigation.
In 2005 Anthony was indicted for a illegal gambling and loansharking enterprise stretching from Brooklyn to Queens, New York, Manhattan, New York and Staten Island which earned $210,000 a week from January 2003 to July of 2004. If convicted he will be sentenced to twenty-five years in prison. In February 2007, Rabito was indicted again under a superseding indictment for racketeering and racketeering conspiracy. As of June 2008, Rabito is in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
